This painting was in process when the artist, working on the lower right hand portion, decided to enhance it by lightly sanding the surface. When he brushed off the dust with his hands, an angel appeared. The angel was not planned, it just appeared. This very special painting was displayed at the “September 11th Memorial Exhibition 2003” held at Ward-Nasse Gallery, Soho, New York.
